Strong background in database management with experience in FileMaker Pro preferred. Knowledge of AP style and Google Analytics desired. Strong digital and technical capabilities including WordPress, social media platforms, Meltwater, Sprout, Constant Contact, SharePoint, MS Office, Outlook, Adobe Creative Cloud especially InDesign, as well as an ability to learn new platforms. Other administrative duties and ad hoc requests as needed. Supporting logistics for staff, board, donor and other events and. Managing mail/freight/courier activity. Supporting the development of a functional and comfortable office environment. Procuring and maintaining office supplies and equipment including technology resources such as business cards, computers, copiers and printers in conjunction with technology consultant. Writing and circulating staff meeting minutes. Supporting fundraising team on various individual giving projects. Training new staff on database functionality, and existing staff on new database features. Supporting fundraising and communications activities by creating mailing lists. Cleaning and sorting contact information for inclusion in print and electronic mailings. Pulling sophisticated reports from database based on often complex criteria. Processing newsletter subscribes and unsubscribes. Managing the organization’s database built on a FileMaker Pro platform, which includes adding new contacts, updating information, verifying data, etc. Other projects and ad hoc requests as needed. Monitoring relevant daily news tracking media hits and placements. Providing website and social media reports. Designing and creating graphics for documents and presentations as well as managing outside vendors developing marketing and creative materials. Managing campaigns and developing associated communications assets such as social media toolkits and invitations. 
Writing, designing and distributing eNewsletters and e-blasts including list maintenance and generation via organizational database. Performing website edits using WordPress, such as updating pages or creating new pages, and working with staff to keep content up-to-date. Monitoring, maintaining and growing GoodWeave’s social media presence on various channels creating compelling content scheduling posts managing engagement and responding to inquiries. The ideal candidate will have an interest in corporate social responsibility, international development or human rights, and possess a can-do attitude. As part of the operations team, this position also helps ensure the office runs smoothly by managing the organizational database, procuring supplies, fielding general inquires and assisting with mailings, fundraising, events and other projects. 
This position assists the Vice President of Communications with duties such as campaign and project management, social media, eNewsletters, website content and edits, reporting and graphic design.
